EDBFA 2012 Steering Objectives:
EDBFA has begun the steering certification course for 2012. Along with this program, all steersmen will have an opportunity to be re-certified under Dragon Boat Canada standards. This will enable the association to adopt codes of conduct and to ensure that paddlers’ safety on the river is of the highest concern. The program will evolve into the new season.

Safety Guidelines
Dragon Boat Canada Safety Rules and Guidelines of Boat safety orientation and protocol are discussed and reviewed by certified coaches and steersmen prior to water practice or at an orientation session.
