There is a team for everyone! No skill required!

The Edmonton Dragon Boat Festival Association welcomes individuals to join an existing team or assists new teams in getting it all together to start the paddling season in anticipation of the festival.

How do I find a Team? I want to learn to Paddle? If you are looking for a team to join and want to learn how to paddle the association will assist you in connecting with a team manager. All teams have different goals and individual requirements with regard to fitness abilities and level of time commitment. Check out our Facebook Group, or contact us.

Starting a Team All you need are interested enthusiastic paddlers. No experience necessary! The boat and necessary equipment, life jackets and paddles are all provided by the EDBFA. A certified coach and steersman will be assigned to your team for the practices and into the festival weekend.
